Who We Are

Story Link Idaho is a non-profit organization established in 2011, dedicated to strengthening the bond between incarcerated parents or grandparents and their children. By recording incarcerated residents reading books aloud and sending both the recording and the book to their children, Story Link Idaho ensures that family connections remain strong despite physical separation.

Ways You Can Help

The Focus of Our Efforts

Library and Mailing Funding

Our goal is to provide new and gently used books that incarcerated parents can read to their children to maintain their parent-child bond.  Your donation of new or gently used books; from board books for the little ones, chapter books for the young teens, and everything in between, will help to build our library to ensure we have enough books for this mission.  Your monetary donations will be used to mail these books to the children.

Volunteer Recruitment

Through our volunteer recruitment program, we have the potential to make real and positive change. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Story Link Idaho, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization.

Technical Work

Story Link Idaho has ongoing technical needs:

  • Branding / Marketing

  • Web development and maintenance

  • General administrative work
